About Tim Kramer Photography
I moved to Florida's beautiful Emerald Gulf Coast in 2001 from Nashville. It really was a "throw a dart at a map" sort of thing. I knew I wanted to be near, or on the Gulf, so I ended up in Fort Walton Beach for a number of years, always hoping that I would be able to make the move to Destin. After developing a strong client base in Destin, Miramar Beach, and Highway 30A, I was able to move to the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in 2011 to assume the position of Marketing Director for Sandestin Real Estate. I left that position in 2014 to focus on writing my own journey as Tim Kramer Photography.
My passion and career in photography started as I was building websites for Realtors/Brokers. I would ask them for photos of properties and of communities, and they often had none, or the quality was low. It was then that I realized, if I was going to set the bar high for my clients' photographs, I was most often going to need to take care of it myself. And thus began my photographic journey. About every 8 months to a year I needed to graduate up another level in gear, going through 7 different camera/flash combinations until recently when I made the leap to go to a Full Frame camera, both my beloved Nikon D780 and my Nikon Z6ii.
Being a photographer living here in Destin, my dreams have been answered. I am able to make a living photographing some of the most gorgeous real estate along any coast.
We do real estate photography from the Destin Bridge to Carillon Beach. This includes Crystal Beach, Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Sandestin, Dune Allen, Draper Lake, Blue Mountain Beach, Grayton Beach, WaterColor, Seaside, Seagrove, Seacrest, Rosemary Beach, and Inlet Beach.
